A New home site plan is required when a builder or others build a new home in an existing subdivision or an existing parcel.  A home site plan is usually required by the municipality where the new home is going to be built in.

A home or house siteplan consists of the following:

• The exact layout of the footprint of the house or structure that is being proposed.
• The off-sets of the structure to the current property lines.
• Easments are shown – these easements usually include utility placement and other services already in the property.
• Some cities require landscaping plans and other items that we have not listed.
